This initial counseling session is also known as the "intake". During this session, the goal is to collect information about the client, presenting concerns, treatment needs and expectations. This is an opportunity for the counselor to gain a better understanding of the client's needs as well as an opportunity for rapport building.

Life coaching is the process thought which coaches collaborate with their clients to make improvements in their lives in order to attain greater fulfillment in life. Coaching emphasizes strengths, skills and talents to empower clients, inspire growth and change, and encourage goal achievement.
The objecting of life coaching is to tap into your unrealized potential. It is an action-oriented approach to identifying and achieving your goals. Life coaching will help you to identify your barriers and obstacles and leverages your strengths to help you achieve your goals more effectively.

Each coaching engagement begins with a comprehensive interview aimed at identifying potential goals. During the initial session, you will also work with your coach on outlining an individualized plan to actualize your goals.
$80/hr. Long-term coaching packages are available.
You may choose to terminate at any time, although it is helpful for your coach to have a week’s notice in order to prepare a final session that focuses on review and closure. Ultimately, that decision is up to you.
